Dental Wax For Casting
- Product Introduction
Products Description
'
Dental Wax for Casting is a high-performance wax material used in the dental lost-wax casting process. It is mainly applied in the fabrication of wax models for crowns, bridges, brackets, and other restorations. The product features low residual ash, excellent carving performance, and outstanding thermal stability. It does not produce bubbles or deform during high-temperature melting, ensuring high casting accuracy and surface quality.
1. Low-ash design for clean, residue-free casting
The residual ash content is extremely low (≤0.032%) and almost completely burns out during the heating and melting process. This prevents interference with metal flow or casting precision, thereby improving the success rate of the casting process.
2. Excellent thermal stability and uniform melting
With a softening point of 105°C and a drop melting point of 140°C, the wax demonstrates excellent thermal stability under standard casting temperature curves. It melts uniformly without warping or bubbling, maintaining the integrity of the wax model.
3. Smooth carving with clear edges
The wax has a fine texture and moderate hardness, making it suitable for both mechanical and manual carving. It produces no burrs or chipping, and the carved tooth structures have well-defined outlines for precise technician work.
4. Distinct colors for easy operation and management
Available in various colors (such as blue, green, white, etc.), the wax helps differentiate between patients or restoration projects, enhancing workflow efficiency in the laboratory.
5. Accurate shrinkage control
With an approximate thermal shrinkage rate of 7%, the shrinkage can be accurately predicted and controlled, ensuring that the final casting dimensions match the original wax model design.
