1. Precautions when sintering zirconia
Temperature control
Heating rate: Zirconia needs to be heated slowly to avoid cracking caused by internal stress (recommended rate ≤15°C/minute), and the rapid sintering mode must strictly follow the heating curve of the material manufacturer.
Peak temperature: Usually 1450-1600°C, which needs to be adjusted according to the brand of zirconia.
Holding time: Too long may cause grain coarsening, and too short may result in insufficient density. It needs to be set according to the material instructions.
Cooling rate
Rapid cooling may cause microcracks, and the cooling rate needs to be controlled in the slow sintering mode (≤10°C/minute).
2. Precautions when sintering ceramics
Temperature accuracy
