Products Description
HT A1 A2 A3 Dental Glass Ceramic Lithium Dislicate Blocks designed for high-quality dental restorations. Known for their excellent aesthetics, these blocks replicate the natural appearance of teeth, offering a range of shades (A1, A2, A3) to match various patient needs. The HT (High Translucency) option provides enhanced light transmission, making it ideal for anterior restorations. Lithium disilicate is celebrated for its outstanding strength and durability, with a flexural strength exceeding 400 MPa, making it suitable for both anterior and posterior applications. Additionally, the material's excellent adhesive properties allow for reliable bonding with dental cements. With their versatility and performance, these blocks are the go-to choice for dental professionals seeking optimal results in restorative dentistry.
[Composition]
This product consists of a blend of silicon dioxide, lithium oxide, potassium oxide, aluminum oxide, phosphorus pentoxide, boron oxide, zinc oxide, zirconium dioxide, vanadium oxide, cerium oxide, erbium oxide, and manganese dioxide.
Physical and Chemical Properties
1.1 The density of partially crystallized glass-ceramic blocks used for all-ceramic dentures ranges from 2.3 to 2.6 g/cm³.
1.2 For fully crystallized glass-ceramic blocks intended for all-ceramic prostheses, the density is between 2.4 and 2.7 g/cm³.
1.3 The minimum biaxial flexural strength of fully crystallized glass-ceramic blocks for all-ceramic dentures is 300 MPa.
1.4 The coefficient of thermal expansion for glass-ceramics used in all-ceramic dentures is (9.8±0.5) x 10⁻⁶ K⁻¹.
1.5 The glass transition temperature of glass-ceramics for all-ceramic dentures is approximately 510±20°C.
1.6 The concentration of uranium-238 in the glass-ceramic used for all-ceramic dentures is 1.0 Bq/g.
1.7 The maximum chemical solubility of fully crystallized glass-ceramic blocks for all-ceramic dentures is 100 µg/cm².
Biological Properties
2.1 Cytotoxicity: This material exhibits a cytotoxicity rating of 0.
2.2 Short-term systemic toxicity testing (oral route) shows no systemic toxicity.
2.3 Sensitization testing indicates no signs of sensitization.
2.4 Hemolysis testing reveals a hemolysis rate of less than 5%.
2.5 The Ames test results are negative for mutagenicity.
2.6 Oral mucosa irritation testing shows no irritation to the oral mucosa.
HT refers to high translucency, while LT indicates low translucency. Amber ceramics are available exclusively in whitening HT-0M1, primarily intended for veneer restorations.
