98×14mm dental zirconia block is a high-performance ceramic material used to make all-ceramic denture restorations, which is widely used in the dental field.

Application: Mainly used to make crowns, bridges, inlays, veneers and other restorations for dental fixed dentures.

Specifications: The specifications of this product are cylindrical ceramic blocks with a diameter of 98mm and a thickness of 14mm, which are suitable for various CAD/CAM systems.

White Blocks ht has a translucency of 41% and flexural strength over 1200MPa, while st has 43% translucency and flexural strength over 900MPa; both are only available in white and do not include shades such as A1. Monolayer Preshaded Blocks htc provides 41% translucency and flexural strength above 1200MPa, with shades including A1, A2, A3; stc offers 43% translucency and flexural strength above 900MPa, covering shades A1, A2, A3, A3.5, A4, B1, B2, B3, B4. 3D Multilayer Blocks stm features gradient translucency from 49% to 43% and gradient flexural strength from ≥800MPa to ≥1100MPa, available in C1, C2, C3, C4; atm has gradient translucency from 55% to 46% and gradient flexural strength from ≥600MPa to ≥900MPa, available in D2, D3, D4, and neither stm nor atm includes A1 shades. Tosoh Powder 3D Multilayer Blocks tstm comes with gradient translucency from 43% to 49% and gradient flexural strength from ≥800MPa to ≥1100MPa, offering B1, BL2, BL3, BL4 shades; tatm has gradient translucency from 46% to 55% and gradient flexural strength from ≥600MPa to ≥900MPa, with no standard A1‑related shades provided.

Manufacturing process

Powder preparation: High-purity zirconium oxide powder is uniformly mixed with an appropriate amount of stabilizer (such as yttrium oxide) and other oxides to ensure the uniformity and stability of the material.

Molding: The powder is pressed into a regular-shaped blank by isostatic pressing or dry pressing. Isostatic pressing ensures the uniformity and density of the blank and improves the strength and durability of the restoration.

Pre-sintering: The blank is pre-sintered at 900-1100℃ to give it a certain strength for subsequent machining.

Machining: Use CAD/CAM technology to precisely cut the pre-sintered zirconia blank into the required shape of dental restorations.

Dyeing: According to the color requirements of the patient's teeth, the zirconia restoration is dyed to achieve the ideal aesthetic effect.

Final sintering: The dyed restoration is finally sintered at 1450-1600℃ to achieve the required density and mechanical properties.

Surface treatment: The sintered restoration is polished, glazed and other surface treatments are performed to improve its aesthetics and comfort.
