98×14mm dental zirconia block is a high-performance ceramic material used to make all-ceramic denture restorations, which is widely used in the dental field.
Application: Mainly used to make crowns, bridges, inlays, veneers and other restorations for dental fixed dentures.
Specifications: The specifications of this product are cylindrical ceramic blocks with a diameter of 98mm and a thickness of 14mm, which are suitable for various CAD/CAM systems.

High strength: The bending strength can reach 600-1350MPa, which can withstand the chewing pressure in the mouth.

Manufacturing raw materials
The main raw materials of dental zirconia blocks include:
Zirconia (ZrO₂): content ≥99%, as the main component.
Yttrium oxide (Y₂O₃): The content is 4.5% to 6.0%, which acts as a stabilizer to ensure the stable existence of tetragonal zirconium oxide at room temperature.
Hafnium oxide (HfO₂): The content is ≤5%, which exists as a trace element.
Aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃): The content is ≤0.5%, which can improve the mechanical properties of the material.
Other oxides: The content is ≤0.5%, which is used to adjust the material properties.
The precise ratio and purity of these raw materials have a direct impact on the performance of the zirconia block.

Manufacturing process
Powder preparation: High-purity zirconium oxide powder is uniformly mixed with an appropriate amount of stabilizer (such as yttrium oxide) and other oxides to ensure the uniformity and stability of the material.
Molding: The powder is pressed into a regular-shaped blank by isostatic pressing or dry pressing. Isostatic pressing ensures the uniformity and density of the blank and improves the strength and durability of the restoration.
Pre-sintering: The blank is pre-sintered at 900-1100℃ to give it a certain strength for subsequent machining.
Machining: Use CAD/CAM technology to precisely cut the pre-sintered zirconia blank into the required shape of dental restorations.
Dyeing: According to the color requirements of the patient's teeth, the zirconia restoration is dyed to achieve the ideal aesthetic effect.
Final sintering: The dyed restoration is finally sintered at 1450-1600℃ to achieve the required density and mechanical properties.
Surface treatment: The sintered restoration is polished, glazed and other surface treatments are performed to improve its aesthetics and comfort.
