Dental PMMA Blank

The Flexible Resin Disk and PMMA Blanks (Monolayer and Multilayer) are available for Wieland, VHF, Roland, Imes-Icore and open systems such as Zirkonzahn and Amann Girrbach. These materials are available in diameters of 98mm, 95mm and AG71mm and in a variety of colors including A0, A1, B1, clear for flexible resin discs and Vita16, pink, clear for PMMA blanks. They are primarily used for temporary crown fabrication in denture prostheses and clinical restoration applications and can also be used as carving discs as an alternative to dental wax.

These materials offer several advantages, including perfect color matching to natural teeth and excellent biocompatibility. They are processed through high temperature and high pressure, ensuring good wearability and durability. The Multilayer PMMA Blank stands out for its excellent processability, with no adhesion to milling tools, making it convenient for manual milling. The thinnest crowns made from this material can reach 0.3mm. Additionally, the Multilayer PMMA Blank is processed through special techniques that eliminate internal stress, significantly reducing deformation during machining.

Key material properties include a Vickers hardness of 26.60 HV, flexural strength of 114 MPa, and an E-Module of 2771 MPa. The residual monomer content is less than 1%, ensuring a high-quality and stable material. The blanks come in thicknesses of 15, 18, and 20mm, with a diameter range of 95-105mm, making them suitable for creating temporary crowns and bridges.
