Dental Peek disc
Dental PEEK discs are suitable for making crowns, bridges and implant abutments. Made from durable and biocompatible thermoplastic polyetheretherketone (PEEK), it has excellent mechanical properties, wear resistance and fracture resistance, while being lightweight and non-allergenic. PEEK has a natural aesthetic. Available in four colors - natural, white, yellow and pink - their properties differ slightly: Natural has a density of 1.32 g/cm³, a flexural strength of 163 MPa, a flexural modulus of 4 GPa and an impact strength of 199 KJ/m². White has a density of 1.48 g/cm³, a flexural strength of 152 MPa, a flexural modulus of 5.3 GPa and an impact strength of 145 KJ/m². Yellow has a density of 1.51 g/cm³, a flexural strength of 154 MPa, a flexural modulus of 5.6 GPa and an impact strength of 162 KJ/m². pink has the highest flexural strength of 165 MPa, a density of 1.51 g/cm³, a flexural modulus of 5.8 GPa, and an impact strength of 160 KJ/m².
