European and American Dental Distributors Visit Zotion Factory for In-Depth Product and Manufacturing Training

Chongqing, China - September 2026 - Zotion recently welcomed dental distributors from Europe and the United States to its manufacturing facility in Chongqing, China. The visit gave the distributors an opportunity to see how Zotion's dental equipment and zirconia products are made, discuss technical details directly with the engineering team, and learn more about the production and quality control processes behind the products they may introduce to their local markets.

For distributors, choosing a dental manufacturer is not only about comparing a product catalogue or asking for a price list. When they plan to represent a product in their own market, they also need to understand how the product is manufactured, what technical support is available, and how the manufacturer handles quality control and after-sales service.

That was the main purpose of this factory visit.

From Product Samples to the Production Floor

During the visit, the distributors toured Zotion's production areas and observed several stages of manufacturing. The team introduced the production processes for dental milling machines, sintering furnaces, and zirconia blocks, while explaining the parts of the process that can affect product performance and consistency.

Instead of only showing finished products, our engineers discussed what happens behind them.

For dental milling machines, the visitors looked at machine assembly, component installation, calibration, testing, and inspection. The technical team also discussed practical questions related to 5-axis milling, tool changing, machine configuration, dry and wet milling, and the requirements of different laboratory workflows.

For sintering furnaces, the discussion focused on temperature control, heating elements, furnace structure, cooling procedures, and program settings. These details may look simple from the outside, but they have a direct connection with how a dental laboratory manages zirconia sintering in daily production.

The distributors were also able to see the production and inspection processes for zirconia blocks. Our team explained the differences between several zirconia grades and how strength, translucency, shade, and indications can vary between materials.

Direct Technical Communication With the Engineering Team

One of the most useful parts of the visit was the technical discussion between the distributors and Zotion's engineers.

Distributors often receive questions from dental laboratories that are difficult to answer by simply referring to a product brochure. For example, a laboratory may ask why two zirconia materials with similar strength values behave differently during milling or sintering. Another laboratory may want to know which furnace program should be used for a particular zirconia block.

These questions are easier to discuss when the distributor can communicate directly with the people involved in product development and production.

During the visit, our engineers explained product specifications, manufacturing considerations, recommended operating conditions, and common issues that may appear during actual laboratory use. The discussions were also based on feedback collected from existing customers and the experience of working with different dental markets.

Seeing Quality Control in Actual Production

Quality control was another important part of the factory tour.

The distributors visited the inspection areas and learned how products are checked at different stages of production. For dental equipment, inspection can include assembly checks, machine calibration, electrical testing, operating tests, and final inspection before shipment.

For zirconia blocks, quality control involves more than checking the appearance of the finished blocks. Material consistency, dimensions, shade, density, and other production parameters need to be monitored according to the product requirements.

This gave the visitors a clearer picture of the difference between receiving a finished product and understanding how that product reaches the finished stage.

Understanding Zotion as a Manufacturing Partner

Zotion has been working in the dental field since 2009 and operates its manufacturing facility in Chongqing. The company has separate production areas for dental equipment and zirconia blocks, allowing different product lines to be managed within the same manufacturing operation.

For overseas distributors, this type of visit also helps answer practical questions that are difficult to resolve through email alone.

They can see the factory, meet the production and technical teams, examine equipment in person, ask questions about spare parts and maintenance, and discuss how technical support can be provided to laboratories in their own countries.

For us, the visit is also valuable.

Every market has different requirements. Distributors understand their local customers, while our engineering and production teams understand the products and manufacturing processes. Face-to-face discussions allow both sides to exchange information more directly.

Building Cooperation Through Practical Communication

The visit was not simply a factory tour. It was also a technical exchange between a Chinese dental manufacturer and distributors serving overseas dental markets.

During the discussions, the visitors shared feedback about their local markets, including laboratory purchasing habits, equipment requirements, zirconia preferences, and the types of technical support their customers expect from suppliers.

We believe that long-term cooperation is easier to build when both sides understand each other's expectations clearly. A distributor needs to know what kind of support the manufacturer can provide, while the manufacturer needs to understand what laboratories and distributors actually encounter in the market.

The recent visit from European and American distributors provided a useful opportunity for this kind of communication.

As more overseas customers visit our factory, Zotion will continue to welcome distributors, laboratory owners, and dental professionals who want to learn more about our products and manufacturing process.

For us, opening the factory to customers is a straightforward way to show them what we actually make, how we make it, and who they will be working with after an order is placed.
