Zirconia Restorations: how to do ?

Zirconia Restorations:
Zirconia restorations are specifically formulated for anteriors and bicuspids. Designed and milled in our laboratory, zirconia crowns and bridges are solid zirconia with no porcelain overlay.
Increased Translucency – By increasing the amount of yttria in the zirconia oxide, more light passes through zirc, creating on of the most esthetic zirconias on the market.
Outstanding Strength – at 700-1100 MPa, zirconia is stronger than many other anterior restoration options.
Enhanced Anatomy – zirconia is designed using enhanced primary and secondary anatomy, giving you a natural appearance.
More Shading Options – zirconia can be shaded to match your patient’s natural tooth color using both Vita Classic and 3D shades.
Biocompatible – No allergic reactions or tissue irritation.
Cementable – Use your favorite cementation material and protocol.
Indications – Anterior singles, anterior bridges, bicuspids.
Prep Requirements
A chamfer margin is preferred; however any traditional full-cast crown prep is acceptable. Avoid a beveled or knife-edge design.
1mm of occlusal space is ideal.
No sharp or right angles.
Instructions of Adjustments and Polishing
Do not have patient bite in to place.
A fine-grit diamond bur and water spray are necessary when adjusting Full-Contour. If the temperature of zirconia exceeds certain limits, micro-fractures and surface defects can occur, lowering the strength of the restoration.
Polish zirconia with a small brush and diamond polishing paste.
Core Restorations:
ZIRCONIA is a porcelain-fused-to-zirconia restoration. With up to 1400 MPa, zirconia is one of the strongest copings available. Our Core restorations are hand-stacked with porcelain and stained, giving you an esthetic restoration that rivals all-ceramic and PFM options. zirconia is exclusively designed and milled in our laboratory using CAD/CAM technology.
Exceptional Strength – Greater flexural strength than any other all-ceramic available.
Excellent Esthetics – No black lines or gingival graying. Semi-transparent with a high opacity to mask underlying tooth discoloration, metal cores and implant abutments.
Outstanding Marginal Fit – Reduced seating time compared to PFMs.
Biocompatible – No allergic reactions or tissue irritation.
Cementable – Use your favorite cementation material and protocol.
Indications – Anterior singles, anterior bridges, bicuspids.
Prep Requirements
A chamfer margin is preferred; however any traditional PFM prep is acceptable.
1.5mm of occlusal space is ideal.
No sharp or right angles.
